Welcome to Shaw's Performance Horses

Home of O'Lenas Playboy and Son of a Gun (imp).

We have been breeding and showing Paint horses for over 30 years. During this time we have shown multiple State and National Champions in both the Paint horse and Reining arenas.

In 2003 with the importation of "Son of a Gun", we formed Shaw's Performance Horses with the specific aim to breed and promote Paint performance horses.

In late 2004 we purchased our current property at Woodstock near Cowra NSW. A fully established Thoroughbred breeding and yearling preparation complex, comprising 230 acres of undulating, limestone & granite country, excellent for growing bone in young stock. The property also features pipe rail and electric fencing, spring fed dams, automatic waters (bore water) to all paddocks and shelters in most.

Our current focus is to inject the bloodlines of the World famous reining horse "Gunner" into the Australian reining industry through his son "Son of a Gun" (imp).

Also on offer for the cowhorse enthusiast we stand "O'Lenas Playboy" who is by "Gay O'Lena" USA the only crop out son of the immortal cutting horse "Doc O'Lena".

Here at Shaw's Performance Horses we offer live cover and A.I. to all customers and can have chilled semen shipped to any part of the country within 24 hours of collection.

We also offer long and short term agistment for weanlings, yearlings and brood mares with foaling out facilities available.
